Who We Are...
At The Thread Yoga Collective, or The Thread or TTYC for short,
our mission is to create, support, and grow COMMUNITY.
A supportive collective of teachers and educators in the fields of Yoga, Ayurveda, &
Mindfulness so that we can all learn, grow, flourish & thrive, support, expand, and connect individually and together.
We know how isolating it can be out in the world, so we want this thread of community to provide a source for inspiration, support, feedback, guidance, and friendship from peers on this path.
We recognize each one of you has a particular calling, dharma, on your chosen path and a unique way you want to bring that out into the world.
Here at The Thread we want to help you learn, grow, and deepen your understanding of these ancient teachings and explore how to share them in a way that resonates with you.
We want to support you in your development and provide experiences and opportunities to teach you how to create, grow, and support your own community at home.

Our Values
TOGETHERNESS

Yoga is the thread that brings us together and we know that the felt sense of belonging can foster inspiration, learning, creativity, and collective consciousness. We are committed to creating a gathering place that brings together a rich and diverse community of teachers.
HONESTY

We embrace what is summed up in the ancient mantra, Om Tat Sat—What is true and real. We encourage open and honest dialogue and make space for others’ perspectives.
RESPECT

We meet people where they are in their practice and in life. We honor and have gratitude for all wisdom teachings, lineages, teachers, and students alike.
EDUCATION

Our foundation is learning— the teachings of yoga, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and life. We believe that in order to continue to grow and learn, one must be curious, have a Beginner’s mind, and continue to practice consistently and often. In this community we will all learn from each other.
ABUNDANCE

We know that all we need is already inside of us. We believe that there is an abundance of wisdom in our community. It is our mission to both add to it and draw from it, creating a continuous flow of abundance for all.
DIVERSITY

The ancient poet Rumi once wrote: "The lamps are all different. But the lights are all the same." We know that within each of us is the source of divine wisdom and we each have a unique voice that can add to the collective knowledge and positive impact we can have on the world. We celebrate diversity and honor each person’s unique background, beliefs, and contributions to our community and the world.
