Liza Bertini, MS, E-RYT 500, YACEP®, is Co-Founder and Co-Owner of both The Circle of Thread and The Thread Yoga Collective. As a leading figure in the yoga and meditation industry for the past two decades, Liza previously ran an award-winning yoga business with three popular studios for 15 years, founded a yoga retreat business that offers international retreats, and served on the leadership team at various yoga and educational organizations. She is a yoga and mindfulness teacher and trainer, personal development coach, and business consultant, passionate about mentoring and supporting yoga professionals as they strengthen their careers and share yoga with the world. Her corporate background includes working as a Human Resources Director for large financial and media organizations in Manhattan.
Liza holds an MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology, a BA in Business and Psychology from Muhlenberg College, a Certificate in Career and Life Planning from New York University, a Certificate in Health Coaching from Villanova University School of Nursing, a Certificate in Personal Leadership from Columbia Business School, and is a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). She lives in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts with her two greatest teachers, her adolescent twins.
Brian has lived and worked in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia. Professionally and personally in love with yoga, he is Co-Owner of both The Circle of Thread and The Thread Yoga Collective. As a yoga and meditation teacher, currently living in Canada, he teaches private lessons in his home-based studio and online classes on The Circle and The Thread. Previously a financial services executive, who ran business lines for major asset management companies for decades, he brings extensive knowledge of what goes into running a successful business to The Circle and The Thread. From strategy and marketing to operations and customer service, he guides and nurtures every aspect. Brian holds a deep and abiding belief that the world needs more yoga, and that a vital way of making that happen is to champion and support the work and dreams of yoga teachers and business owners across the globe.
